I peeled and sliced about 10 apples. In a big pot I put them with enough water to barely cover them. I got them to simmer and let them for as long as it took to make them soft and mushy. At some point during the cooking, I sprinkled maybe 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and squeezed a fair glop of caramel sundae topping. I added a little water a couple times to keep the mixture from sticking while it cooked. Mmmmm :o)
